Industrial Facilities using Radio Frequencies

Any person who wishes to install Industrial Facilities using Radio Frequencies specified by the Radio Act is required to obtain permission from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) on a facility basis. However, Type Designation of Facility by MIC allows exemption of the requirement of the facility basis permission. TELEC provides testing services to create test report for the Type Designation application to MIC.

Extremely Low Power Radio Equipment

Extremely Low Power Radio Equipment is a license-free wireless device which operates with lower electric field intensity than the limit in the figure below according to the Radio Act. The overrun of the electric field intensity is against the law and the user is subject to punishment.

Extremely Low Power Radio Equipment

Testing and Performance Certification Service of Extremely Low Power Radio Equipment

TELEC performs the measurement of the electric field strength of the Extremely Low Power Radio Equipment stipulated in the Radio Act to determine its conformity to the requirements and issues Performance Certificate for the equipment which complies with the requirements. TELEC also provides Certificate Label upon the customer's request which can be shown on your instruction manual and name plate on the radio equipment for the reassurance to the user.
