TELEC was approved by Wi-SUN alliance as a test laboratory for certification testing services of Field Area Network (FAN) 1.0 Profile (Router and Border Router) for 902-928MHz Band (US/BZ) on May 20, 2020.
FAN is a new specification of Wi-SUN, capable of stable transmission over long distance via multi-hop mesh connection, which is best suited to the construction of IoTs. It is an interoperable communications networking technique with high-quality, long-distance, and secure network, suitable for electricity, gas, and water metering, as well as for smart cities and smart grids in various applications such as infrastructure and intelligent transport systems.
