1) Extremely weak power equipment
One of services is to certify that radio stations whose transmission power are extremely weak are not required licenses by measuring the field intensities and confirming that the measured results satisfy the standard stipulated in the Radio Law. The condition of radio stations which are not required radio licenses is shown in the attached table. This service is performed by the Matsudo Laboratory. Various types of equipment such as low output cordless telephones, wireless microphones and emergency alarm transmitters on the market today are subject to this service. In addition to performance certification of such extremely weak power equipment, TELEC certifies the low power radio equipment whose power is greater than that of extremely weak power equipment.
