The Internet has been penetrated into all over the world very quickly and the 3rd generation wideband cellular phones have been already realized. Consequently, the whole world can be connected regardless of time and place.

Telecom Engineering Center (TELEC) Foundation, former MKK, was founded in 1978. Since then, TELEC has been providing a technical regulations conformity certification service, a testing service for radio equipment and a calibration service for measuring devices under designation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) pursuant to the Radio Law of Japan for more than 20 years and had endeavored for the development of Info-communication society through those services.

We will maintain the current position as a core of the certifying and testing bodies in the Info-communications field, where technical innovation is remarkable, not only in Japan but also in the world. Further to the promotion of the basic research and development of radio wave measurement and the promotion of the practical development on measuring methods, we will actively advance the mutual information exchange with concerned organizations in the world, to cope with globalization in the info-communication fields.

We will make our best efforts continuously to fulfill our missions as a public corporation and contribute to the society to the maximum extents through those missions, although the environment surrounding us has been changing greatly.
